중학교 때 아마 주구장창 외웠던 기억이 있는데, 성인이 되어서야 (그것도 mid 30's...) 다시 정리해본다.

I used to ... : .. 예전에 ~ 했었다. (~하곤 했었다.)

I am used to ... : ... 에 익숙해지다.

 

참고로 I used ... : ... 을 사용하다

 

뒤늦게 깨닫게 되는 것은, I am used 는 '나는 사용되었다' 라는 것이고, 사용되어 어떤 대상에 이미 익숙한 상태를 의미할 수도 있겠다라는 생각을 해본다.
